In the early 1980's work colleagues decided that they wanted a sports activity that they could all participate in.  And so a five a side football team was formed!  Luckily for us today, this didn't last long and they decided to give volleyball a try instead.

This is where Northampton Volleyball Club (NVC) began.

Having merged with another club through its lifetime, NVC has gone from strength to strength.

Today, NVC has an extremely successful ladies National League team, having won their division in 2021/22 they are heading into Division 2 for the 2022/2023 playing season, we cant wait to see how our ladies perform this year - no pressure ladies and Lee.

Lee is the head coach of Northampton Volleyball Club, having played volleyball for as long as he can remember, being part of the England Cadets, having played National League himself, Lee brings a wealth of experience to NVC.

With a passion for the game and as head of NVC he is going to go even further in the coming years, with an emphasis on bringing people together.  With everyone who wants to play having a place to play from young to old, from beginners to professionals - everyone is welcome.
